Mancini backs under fire Balotelli
Man City manager Roberto Mancini has backed Mario Balotelli to return to form, and that he will always trust the striker. There had been suggestions that Mancini has grown frustrated of the Italian forward's antics.
Last week, the unpredictable striker was spotted at an Inter Milan news conference as the club's new manager was unveiled, reporters wondered why the international striker would be at his old club's training ground.
"I am frustrated because sometimes I think it is not possible that a player with his class and his technique can play a game like this," said Mancini.
"I think he is young and I hope for him he can improve very quickly for his future. A player like Mario in the Premier League should score one or two goals every game."
