Bayern to snatch Dzeko from Man City

German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Edin Dzeko from Manchester City. The 26-year old striker has lost out to Carlos Tevez in the pecking order and has been wanting out for first team football.

The Bosnian forward has not been the first choice at Man City mainly because his style of play does not suit the short passing game employed by Roberto Mancini. The Italian coach preferred Aguero and Balotelli upfront with Dzeko coming off from the bench most of the season.

The comeback of Carlos Tevez to the scene has made it difficult for Dzeko and the Bosnian international has been suprlus to the requirements at the club. Bayern have been monitoring Edin's situation and is reportedly interested in securing his signature. Dzeko could add more venom to the Bayern attack spearheaded by their top scorer Mario Gomez.
