Ralf Rangnick in frame for WBA role
Former Schalke 04 manager Ralf Rangnick has been installed as the new favourite to take the vacant manager's job at West Bromwich Albion. Birmingham City coach Chris Hughton had been tipped to take the job, vacant since Roy Hodgson took over the reins at the Hawthorns.
Rangnick has been out of work since 2011, and the 53-year-old has previously told friends that he would be interested in a move to the Premier League before he retires from football completely.
Jeremy Peace, the WBA chairman, has already held discussions with various candidates for the role, however Rangnick is the new favourite to take over.
