Heinze denied by Man Utd

Gabriel Heinze's future is still up in the air after reports that the Man Utd manager Alex Ferguson refused to allow the Argentina defender a move to one of the rivals (the big four in England).

Heinze wishes to play more of an active first team role and the arrival of Nemanja Vidic last season pushed Heinze down the pecking order. A move to Liverpool may guarantee more first team action, something Gabriel is likely to be requiring.
