Man Utd want Casillas

Iker Casillas is reportedly being considered by Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson as the potential replacement for Edwin van der Sar. The Real Madrid man is the captain of the Spanish national team, as well as one of the vice-captains of Real Madrid.

Discussing Casillas' new contract talks last season, Gines Carvajal told AS: "Manchester United made a great offer. In fact, they looking at him succeeding (Edwin) Van der Sar."

Iker Casillas has spent all of his career at Real Madrid.
