Man City keepers do battle
Man City's young England keeper Joe Hart has said that he feels that the competition from Andreas Isakkson and Kasper Schmeichel is helping the youngster to raise his game. Hart has displaced Kasper Schmeichel to the bench but now with Andreas Isaksson returning to full fitness, the challenge is getting bigger.
The England Under-21 international said on the clubâs official website: "Every day in training is brilliant and I think the other lads feel the same.
âTheyâre breathing down my neck for my shirt and you never know it could be the other way around soon, so I just need to keep hold of it, enjoy it and do the best I can while Iâve got it.
"The keepers have been different class. Weâre really close all three of us and both Kasper and Isak have been brilliant. Theyâre both as pleased for me as I would be for them.
âWe need to stick together, itâs a difficult position and people come for you all the time, so as long as we stay strong together regardless of whoâs in goal theyâll keep performing.â
