Drogba completes Galatasaray move
Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba has completed a move from Shanghai Shenhua to Galatasaray. The former Chelsea striker has signed an 18 month contract with the Turkish giants.
"The opportunity to play for this great club was an offer that I could not turn down," said Drogba.
The forward is currently away on international duty with his country, but will link up with his new club once the African Cup of Nations is finished, or if his country exit earlier.
Drogba is Gala's second major signing of the month, as Wesley Sneijder joined from Inter Milan earlier in January.
