Lukasz Fabianski to sign Arsenal deal
Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will sign a fresh contract at the Emirates, after talks commenced with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
The Pole has taken the number 1 spot from fellow countryman Wojciech Szczesny at Arsenal in recent months, impressing as Arsenal have gone 9 games unbeaten in the Premier League.
His form has signaled a return to winning ways for the Gunners. Fabianski had been expected to quit Arsenal at the end of the year, as his contract would expire in the summer. A move to Germany had been mentioned, with Hannover and Eintracht Frankfurt amongst the teams interested in the player.
However, recent playing time and the trust of manager Arsene Wenger has seen a change of heart from Fabianski, now the shot stopper will put pen to paper on a two year deal with the Gunners.
