Man City target Jesus Navas to quit Sevilla

Manchester City target Jesus Navas will say good bye to Sevilla - a team for whom he has been one of their longest serving players - and move to another country to begin a new chapter of his career.

Navas has been one of the most highly rated players to come from Spain in recent seasons, and in the past has been occasionally linked with a move to Arsenal. However Man City are now believed to be in pole position to secure his signing.


Manuel Pellegrini, the incoming City manager, is known to be a huge fan of Navas.


When asked about a potential move to England and City, Navas said: “You can be excited when you are there and you dream, but we are going to wait until the season ends and for summer to come to see what happens. We would have to see if both clubs could come to an agreement.”
