Mata Insists: Nobody Told Me Mourinho Wants Me Out

Juan Mata, who plays for Chelsea as an attacking midfielder insists he has not heard any rumours from within the club that link him to Mourinho's sale diary.

Mata, of recent has impressed everyone by his attacking gameplay. The club's best player of the year award as well as being shortlisted by the Professional Footballers' Association and the Football Writers' Association are just some of the the accolades under his belt that go on to prove his form.


However, reports recently suggested that Mourinho may be looking to rebuild the Chelsea squad by considering selling Mata along with Fernando Torres and David Luiz.


Amid all the rumours and gossips, Juan Mata asserts that, "Nobody at Chelsea has told me that Mourinho wants me out."


"When I finished the season I was told that they were very happy with my performances and with the two years I've spent with the club"


Mata has three years left on his contract with Chelsea and he insists that he is "very happy" with the club.


He prefers to shun all such transfer speculations and prefers to build his bucket list for next season at Stamford Bridge, winning Premier League just one of the top agendas. About it Mata adds, "It must be a great feeling to win a title that so many teams with so much history compete for."


About Mourinho, he says:
"Mourinho? I'd prefer to wait until I meet him and work with him before I judge him."


Juan Mata, the former Valencia man joined Chelsea in August 2011. He is on international duty with his national team Spain at the Confederations Cup.
