Ayew in come and get me plea to Liverpool

The Marseille striker has not hidden his interest on a move to Liverpool. Andre Ayew has said that he would love to play for a top class Premier League side and gave a hint that a move to Anfield would be perfect for his style of play.

The striker has been strongly linked with a Premier League move for the past few seasons and has now staunchly suggested that if an offer came for his from a top Premier League side, he would gladly accept it.

Ayew in an interview said “I am Ghanaian and an English speaker, and the English league is the one most watched in Ghana. I have a strong preference for England. I am not seeking to leave but, if interested clubs have the number of president Labrune…”

The striker had a below par season scoring just 9 goals for Marseille eventually ending up runners up to PSG.

Ayew suggested that Liverpool always had a special place in his heart as he is a huge fan of the Anfield side since his childhood.

The striker could be a target for Liverpool as they are short of options at the front as the suspended Suarez looks eminent to depart to one of La Liga’s giants.

Daniel Sturridge will miss the start of the season. However Celta Vigo Striker Aspas may ease the problems upfront, but they will still need a reliable companion.
