Chelsea linked with shock move for Luiz Suarez

The Europa League champions have been classified as the apparent favorites to capture the signature of Liverpool's unhappy striker Luis Suarez according to media reports.

Just after a day when reports in Spain suggested that the Gunners could make a move in for 26 year old Suarez, the Chelsea link has added more spice to the drama as it may seem all the more unlikely.


It now looks like the new Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has given up on the signing of Uruguayan International Edinson Cavani and has now shifted his attention to Suarez for a much cheaper fee of around £34 million, after Cavani is said to be in talks to join his former teammate Ezequiel Lavezzi at the Parc de Princes.
