Tottenham forward Adebayor's deal to Besiktas delayed
Besiktas' move for Togo international striker Emmanuel Adebayor has stalled, as the player is still in two minds about whether or not to make a move to Turkey. The Tottenham striker is eager to play European football next year.
The Turkish giants are currently banned from European competition for the coming season, thus the burly striker is unsure whether or not to say goodbye to his colleagues at White Hart Lane for a move elsewhere.
Last week, Besiktas' coach Slaven Bilic admitted that he is interested in making a move for the Spurs striker: "Adebayor is a very talented player - anyone would like him to be a part of their squad."
Whilst a fee for the striker is believed to have been agreed, which is in the region of about 12 million Euros, the player himself is still asking for more time before he makes a decision.
