Zokora looks forward to Ramos

Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora has said that he is delighted to be working under new boss Juande Ramos at White Hart Lane. Recently, in the absence of Robbie Keane, Ledley King and Paul Robinson, was given the captain’s armband.

"I am looking forward to working under another great attacking coach, because our old manager was also a good attacking coach," Zokora told skysports.com.

"What we need to do is to defend a little better and we will be back in the top half of the table.

"Ramos has got a good reputation all over Europe, my national team-mate Arouna Kone in Seville told me positive things about him."

Zokora has accepted the fact that this season his performance has not been upto the levels set by him earlier and he says he is keen to work hard and improve his game.

"My form has not been very good like the rest of the team, however I am working hard in training to improve my own form and also the team's results," he added.
