Liverpool to miss out on Christian Atsu

Liverpool will not be increasing their original offer of 4 million Euros for Ghana international Christian Atsu. The Porto winger has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent months.

The Ghanaian international had been set to move to Liverpool but a last minute increase in price by the Portuguese side appears to have cost Atsu his dream move to the Premier League.


"It is true that there was such a proposal, as it is also true that FC Porto refused," Atsu's agent Tony Appiah quipped. "Honestly, I do not know if Liverpool are still interested, because in football everything changes from one day to another. What I think is that Porto are not interested in selling Atsu.
