Man Utd boss Moyes: we have no plans to sell Rooney
Manchester United manager David Moyes has told reporters that striker Wayne Rooney is not for sale. Chelsea have reportedly made an offer for the England international striker that has been rejected by United.
"The club's position has not changed," said Moyes, speaking at a press conference in Sydney. "Rooney is not for sale."
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho had earlier told reporters that if a player wants to make a country's World Cup squad, they can not play second choice striker at their club. In recent weeks, it has been suggested that Wayne Rooney is second choice forward at Man Utd behind Robin van Persie.
