Jackson Martinez Rules Out The Possibility Of Club Exit

The Colombia striker Jackson Martinez is being tracked by club giants like Borussia Dortmund and Napoli but the player is reportedly not interested in leaving his current club this season.

Martinez has rejected the idea of participating in any transfer deal this summer as he claims that he is happy to be at Porto, his current club.

BVB are targeting the striker as a potential replacement for last season’s sensation Robert Lewandowski whereas the Rafael Benitez led side are looking for someone to fill in the void created by Edinson Cavani’s departure.

Porto have already suffered the departure of Joao Moutinho and Jamez Rodriguez to Monaco but Martinez has made it clear that he wants to stay at the club. He was brilliant in the last season, having scored 26 goals in 30 league games.

"I am happy to be here at a club like this," he told Renascenca.

"I am enjoying the opportunity to play here.

"I want to repeat what happened last season and win more trophies with Porto."
