Arsenal target Bernard coy on his future

Atletico Mineiro's winger Bernard has rubbished claims of him leaving the Brazilian side until the end of the Copa Libertadores final. Arsenal were strongly linked with a move the Brazilian International until Arsene Wenger denied to the speculation stating that the report was not true in an interview after the game against Nagoya Grampus Eight.

Reports in Brazil still suggest that Bernard is set to sign for Arsenal within the summer transfer window.The Brazilian international is preparing for Atletico Mineiro's Copa Libertadores final second leg against Olimpia Asuncion on Wednesday evening and suggested that a move away should be cancelled out until then.


"In a week as important as this, I do not want to talk about it," he said.


"I do not want to be rude, but my focus is on the final. My future is at Atletico until Thursday when it is in the hands of the board,"
