Manchester United Tracking Everton Midfielder Marouane Fellaini

Barcelona’s determination to not let go of Cesc Fabregas has left Manchester United exploring their other options. According to Goal.com, the Red Devils are now looking to lure another of their interests; Marouane Fellaini.

The source claims that David Moyes is now keen on triggering the Everton star’s release clause of €25.5 million. It is also known that Fellaini’s release clause will increase on August 1, so United are in a hurry to make arrangements for a suitable offer.

Fellaini is known to be an admirer of Moyes, who brought him to Everton in 2008. He is seemingly open to a move to the Old Trafford, considering his relations with his former coach. He is also well known to United fans as he scored twice in the last three games against their team.

"I only want to go to a club where the manager really wants me," said the 25-year-old.

"In 2008, Everton did everything to convince me, especially David Moyes. He made me the player I am now."

Sources close to United claim that the club is also monitoring Fellaini’s teammate, Leighton Baines, whose release clause is believed to be in between €17.5m and €23.3m.
