West Ham linked with move for Imanol Agirrexte

West Ham have made an enquiry for Real Sociedad forward Imanol Agirrexte. The player has been with Sociedad since 2003. West Ham are desperately looking for a new striker to bring to the club and manager Sam Allardyce has instructed his scouts to find him a suitable partner for new signing Andy Carroll.

Agirrexte scored an impressive 13 La Liga goals last season and had his best goals to game ratio since he forced his way into Sociedad's first team back in 2005. The goals were very important for his team as Sociedad were able to qualify for this coming season's Champions League after finishing in 4th place.


Agirrexte has forged a successful partnership with Carlos Vela at the Spanish side, with the duo scoring 27 goals between them.


West Ham are now in talks with Sociedad representatives having made their enquiry for the player; it is understood that Agirrexte is valued at approximately 5 million Euros.
