Tottenham target Dzeko given Man City vote of confidence

Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko has been given a vote of confidence by manager Manuel Pellegrini. The Bosnian forward has been linked with a move to Tottenham but appears to be set to stay at the Etihad Stadium for the coming season.

Despite the arrivals of Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo, as well as the competition for places already in place with Sergio Aguero in the side, it appears Dzeko is still very much wanted by Pellegrini for the new year.


The burly forward has not always been at his best since his arrival from Germany, but Chilean coach Pellegrini is ready to give the forward yet another chance in the first team for the season ahead.
