Everton boss reveals no United bid for Fellaini
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has rubbished speculation surrounding Marouane Fellaini's future claiming that Manchester United have not tabled a bid yet for the Belgium international.
There has been widespread reports that Manchester United are close to sealing a deal for the big Everton midfielder but Martinez denied all of it.
"There are no bids," the Liverpool Echo quoted him as saying. "When you read that someone is interested in someone, it doesn't mean there is a bid on the table.
"Marouane has been working really hard. Leighton Baines has been working really hard for the team and that's all that matters."
Manchester United boss David Moyes has been left frustrated after failing repeatedly in This efforts to bring in new players to Old Trafford and is believed to have set his sights on Fellaini.
Moyes told the media that he remains positive about his team's chances to sign new players this summer.
"I do think we'll be bringing players in before the window shuts. They will come. We're moving along but if you said, 'Is anything close?', I couldn't give you an answer."
