West Ham transfer cull commences
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce, who has been informed that he must sell players in order to sign new players, has made a list of four players who he will be looking to sell before the end of the transfer window.
West Ham are looking to sell midfielder Matt Taylor, striker Ricardo Vaz Te and midfielder Alou Diarra.
The club are desperate to find a new striker after the injury to Andy Carroll, with Modibo Maiga the current only first choice striker. With the Hammers desperate to find a new player, the likes of Diarra must be sold to generate funds in the club's pursuit of another striker.
