Chelsea tell Demba Ba he can leave on loan
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has told Senegalese forward Demba Ba that the arrival of Samuel Eto'o leaves Ba out of the running to play regularly at Stamford Bridge this year. The Portuguese coach encouraged Ba to find a club to join on loan.
Despite joining the Blues for £7 million back in January, his spell at the Bridge is already coming to a rapid end as Chelsea have made Ba available for a season long loan for only £2 million.
Ba has attracted the interest of his former club Newcastle. The Toon Army have been looking for a new striker since January when the forward first made a move to the Blues and have so far failed in their search, despite bringing in Loic Remy on loan from QPR.
