Aston Villa to make bid for Libor Kozak

Czech Republic international Libor Kozak is a target for Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert before the end of the transfer window. The 24-year-old striker has been told he can leave his current club Lazio.

The forward has been with his current club since 2008 having enjoyed a loan spell at Brescia and in recent months has forced his way into Lazio's first team.


However, Aston Villa will pursue Kozak ahead of a reported 3.2 million Euro transfer to the Premier League.


The 24-year-old has asked for a transfer away from Lazio and his agent will fly to Birmingham today for talks.
