Gareth Bale to make debut this weekend
Real Madrid's newest signing Gareth Bale will make his debut this weekend. The La Liga side smashed the world transfer record to sign the Welshman from Tottenham and Carlo Ancelotti, the club's manager, confirmed Bale would play some part against Villarreal today.
The former Tottenham player arrived at Real Madrid two weeks ago smashing the world's transfer record and fans are excited to see Bale make his debut.
Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed recently that Bale would be playing as a right sided forward at the Bernabeu, leaving Ronaldo to operate in his usual position as a forward or left sided forwarded.
"Bale will travel and will play. I'm not sure if he will start or come off from the bench," said Ancelotti.
"He's arrived full of enthusiasm and he is very happy to be at the team he wanted to join. He is a humble player who likes to be with his team-mates. He fits in well with the squad."
