Fulham hopeful to agree extension with Sidwell
Premier League side Fulham have revealed that they are presently in talks with midfielder Steve Sidwell over a new contract.
The 30 year old hard working midfielder has become an integral part of Martin Jol's plans ever since he took over and the Fulham boss wants him to agree a contract extension with the Cottagers.
His present contract runs out at the end of the current season and Jol believes that he would prefer staying at the club.
"He's done well," Jol told the Fulham Chronicle. "We're talking to him to extend his contract.
"I think he wants to stay."
