Tottenham chasing Marc Bartra for January transfer

Tottenham are weighing up another bid for Barcelona youngster Marc Bartra in January. The defender has already attracted the interest of Spurs in the past, but have yet to make an official bid for the player.

The 22-year-old defender has played in just two games for Barca this season so far and is reportedly frustrated with manager Gerardo Martino for a lack of playing time. Barca are ready to listen to offers in excess of 10 million Euros for the player.


Bartra's current deal expires next summer and it is understood that the Catalan side are still hopeful Bartra will reject any approaches from Spurs and sign a new deal at the Camp Nou instead.
