Tottenham linked with shock Andrea Pirlo move
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is considering a surprise move for Juventus' midfielder Andrea Pirlo in June. The Italy international will be out of contract and is desperate to make a move to the Premier League before calling time on his career.
It has been reported that Tottenham will make a sensational move for the 34-year-old midfielder, and former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli today confirmed that Spurs are already considering a move for the player.
Tottenham have already spent big signing midfielders this summer, with the likes of Etienne Capoue, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen arriving at White Hart Lane on big money deals. However, Villas-Boas seemingly wants to add some extra experience and will make a move for Pirlo as soon as his contract expires next summer.
