Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois keen on Barcelona switch

Atletico Madrid's on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is reported keen on making a switch to the la Liga giants Barcelona next summer, according to Catalan newspaper Sport.

The Chelsea youngster has grown his desire to move to the Nou Camp next season. Barcelona are reportedly keeping track of the player's progress, as they consider the player as a successor to the outbound Victor Valdes.


Following Courtois third spell on loan with Atletico Madrid, where he has made a name for himself, the Belgian shot stopper could be set to leave Chelsea during the summer without making a single appearance for the West London outfit.


It will be interesting to see how Jose Mourinho reacts to the speculation, as the player’s own wishes may play spoilsport to the team's plans of retaining him in the long run.
