Arsenal monitoring Genoa defender Sime Vrsaljko
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Genoa defender Sime Vrsaljko, according to The Mirror.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has envigorated interest on the Croatian International, with the club yet to agree terms with French right-back Bacary Sagna over a contract extension.
With Sagna likely to leave the North London outfit at the end of the season, Wenger has begun sending scouts to the Serie A outfit to watch the talented 19-year-old full-back in action.
Reports suggest that Wenger would sign the talented defender inorder to provide competition to Carl Jenkinson for a first-team spot, should he fail to persuade Sagna in staying with the Gunners next season.
