Tottenham ready £28m bid for Christian Benteke

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on acquiring the services of Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke during the upcoming January transfer window.

The North London outfit were associated with a switch for the Belgium striker during the summer, but the forward opted to sign a new contract extension with the Villans.


According to The Daily Star, it is understood that Spurs, who spent over £100m on players following the sale of Gareth Bale to La Liga giants Real Madrid during the summer, will add the talented Belgian International to their ranks for a reported transfer fee of £28m


Benteke has scored 5 goals for the Midlands outfit so far this season.
