Tottenham misfit Adebayor heading for Turkey move
Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has moved a step closer to making a move to Turkish side Besiktas. The Togo international decided to stay at White Hart Lane this past summer but has yet to force his way into Andre Villas-Boas' first team plans.
The former Man City and Arsenal striker had been linked with a move to a host of Turkish sides, with Besiktas appeared to be the favourite for his signature, but at the last minute the forward decided against a move and stayed with Tottenham.
However, with the January transfer window upcoming it appears the forward has had a change of heart and is now ready to quit White Hart Lane.
Besiktas are hopeful that a deal can be agreed with Spurs prior to the opening of the transfer window and that the player will link up with their team on the 1st of January.
