Manchester City's David Silva ruled out of action for four weeks
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that midfielder David Silva will spend upto four weeks on the sidelines through injury.
Pellegrini has revealed that the Spanish midfielder has suffered a calf injury during City's 5-0 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League in midweek, and will likely be on the sidelines for three to four weeks, which could likely rule him out for the next four Premier League games.
He also added that club captain Vincent Kompany could recover in time to face Tottenham Hotspur after the international break.
"Silva has a problem with his calf, I think it'll be 3 or 4 weeks," Pellegrini said. "The 1st diagnosis [for Kompany] was five weeks and that was three weeks ago. We hope he continues the same way."
