Arsenal in for Barcelona star Pedro?

Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Barcelona forward Pedro during the upcoming transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

Pedro, who is considered as a super sub for the Catalan outfit, having scored 69 of his 72 goals for the La Liga giants from the bench, is keen on finding new pastures elsewhere having seen his chances being limited under new manager Gerardo Martino. 


The speculation of a move comes about as Pedro is keen on sealing a World Cup berth with the Spanish national side in Brazil next year. The arrival of Brazilian sensation Neymar and resurgence of Alexis Sanchez have minimised Pedro's chances with the club.


Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has sent the club's representatives to discuss a January switch for Pedro to North London, as he is keen on adding an additional forward to provide amble support to Olivier Giroud.

Pedro has scored 72 goals in 225 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.
