Arsenal interested in Auxerre striker Paul-Georges Ntep
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress on Auxerre striker Paul-Georges Ntep, with a view of making a transfer offer for the player in January.
According to Le10Sport, the Gunners have entered preliminary talks over an £8.5m deal for the Cameroon-born starlet, but are set to face competition from the likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur for the player's services.
Arsenal are considered favourites to land the French Under-21 youngster ahead of other parties, mainly due to manager Arsene Wenger's connections with Auxerre in the past, having acquired the signature of Yaya Sanogo during the summer.
French Ligue 1 clubs Lille and Saint-Etienne are also interested in acquiring the player's signature.
