Patrice Evra news

Monaco and Paris St Germain are set to go head to head to sign French international left back Patrice Evra. The Manchester United defender is likely to quit Old Trafford at the end of the season and there is talk of an imminent return to his home country.

The 32-year-old has already told his agent that he would like to move elsewhere once his contract at United expires, and French giants PSG and Monaco are set to offer the 32-year-old a bumper contract to move back to Ligue 1. According to reports, Monaco are set to pay Evra a whopping £150,000 a week to join them and Paris St Germain are also ready to match that with a bid of a similar amount.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has reportedly decided that he will sign Leighton Baines as soon as possible as a long term replacement for Evra. The Everton defender is currently United's first choice transfer purchase in the January window.
