West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole dismisses exit rumours
West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole has denied reports linking him with an exit from the London outfit during the New Year.
The 32-year-old was said to be considering his stay with the Hammers after being substituted after just 37 minutes into the club's 3-0 league defeat to former club Chelsea at Upton Park last weekend.
However, Cole has clarified that he is happy at the London club and would only leave the club if he was asked to.. "I was as frustrated as anyone after Saturday's game with Chelsea but my only focus at the moment is on getting my head down, working hard and helping the team out of the difficult run we're going through at the moment," He said.
"I'm happy at the club and the only way I'll be leaving is if they tell me they don't want me anymore."
Joe Cole joined the Hammers on a free transfer from Liverpool in January 2013.
