Tottenham Hotspur plot £30m bid for Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to make a bid worth £30m bid in an attempt to secure the services of Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi during the winter transfer window.

The Lilywhites have just scored nine goals in the Premier League this season - three of which came from the penalty spot, and reports around England suggest that the North London outfit are ready to make a January swoop for the talented Italian hitman.


The United States-born Italian International, who has hit 11 goals in 13 Serie A appearances for the Viola, is considered as a top target for Spurs, as manager Andre-Villas Boas is keen on finding a reliable goalscorer for the club.
