Man Utd chasing Turkish goalkeeper Onur Kivrak
According to the Metro, Manchester United are considering a shock move for Trabzonspor's first choice goalkeeper Onur Kivrak. With first choice David De Gea finally starting to show the form that persuading former Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson to make the Spaniard his first choice keeper, current manager David Moyes wants to put pressure on his young keeper by signing a new backup shot stopper.
25-year-old Kivrak has been a first team regular at Trabzonspor since his arrival in 2008 and has recently forced his way into Turkey's national team. The 6 foot 2 keeper has had a stunning season so far for Trabzonspor, where he is known as "the Butterfly" by the club's fans for his aerial ability.
With just 18 months left on his contract, Manchester United are hopeful that they can secure a cut price transfer deal for the keeper in the January transfer window.
