Chelsea considering move for Newcastle's loan forward Loic Remy

Chelsea have been linked with a surprise move for French striker Loic Remy. The French international is currently on loan at Newcastle from Queens Park Rangers.

According to reports from France this morning, Chelsea are suitably impressed with the form of the striker and could make a surprise move for Remy as a replacement for Demba Ba. There has even been some suggestion that there could be some kind of swap deal between the duo next summer.


Remy has hugely impressed since arriving at Newcastle on loan having scored eight Premier League goals this season so far and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is hoping to hijack a deal for the player.
