Coloccini rules out Newcastle exit
Newcastle club captain Fabricio Coloccini has told reporters that he is committed to the club and that he will not seek a move back to Argentina once the transfer window opens again in January.
San Lorenzo were this week linked with a transfer for the centre back amidst reports of Coloccini again being unhappy with life at the Toon Army.
However, the defender has now hit back at these reports and insisted that he is only committed to continuing Newcastle's good form in the league: "It’s nothing – it’s old news. The Press sometimes say things I said months ago, not now.
"I respect the fans. When I go on to the pitch, I always give 100 per cent for this shirt because they give me lots of love, and I have to say thank you."
