Southampton join race for Julio Cesar
Southampton have joined the likes of Sunderland and Arsenal to sign the Brazilian.
QPR have repeated the need for Julio Cesar to be playing top football and are willing to let go of the player this January.
Following rumors that Sunderland's Gus Poyet was interested in the player, it has now emerged that Southampton are looking to sign the player following injury to Polish stopper Artur Boruc.
Southampton are in a strong position this season sitting in a comfortable 8th place ahead of Champions Manchester United and look favorites to sign the 34-year old.
Cesar is said to be looking for a January exit from the Championship side to prepare for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
