Sunderland in for Demba Ba in January?
Sunderland are apparently plotting a move to sign Chelsea striker Demba Ba on a temporary basis in the January transfer window.
The Black Cats manager Gus Poyet is in the search for suitable additions to his attack-front as he aims to guide the club to safety, and considers the talented Senegalese forward as a top transfer target during the upcoming transfer window.
Ba has found it hard to settle with the Blues since his switch from the Magpies in January, and he is considering a move away from the West London club, having found himself down the pecking order in the first-team under manager Jose Mourinho, following the arrival of the likes of Samuel Eto'o and André Schürrle during the summer.
However, Sunderland will have a tough battle on their hands to sign the former Newcastle striker on a short-term deal, as the West London club are interested in selling the player on a permanent transfer.
Serie A giants Inter Milan are also keen on signing Demba Ba.
