Sunderland make Guy Demel enquiry

Sunderland have made a surprise offer for West Ham defender Guy Demel, a former Arsenal starlet as a youngster who has attracted the interest of Sunderland who are now hoping to make a bid in the January transfer window.

According to reports, West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is open to listening to offers for the French born player.
