West Ham interested in Besiktas striker
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce considers Besikta forward Hugo Almeida as a top transfer target in the winter transfer window.
The 29-year-old, whose contract with the Turkish outfit is set to expire at the end of the season, was linked with a switch to the Hammers last summer.
According to SkySports, the struggling Premier league outfit could make an attempt to land the player's services in January, as they aim to solve their striker crisis in order to beat the drop from the Premier League this season.
West Ham United have been struggling to find the net this term, and find themselves languishing in 19th place in the Premier League.
