Sunderland plot bid for Jordan Rhodes
Sunderland are reportedly readying a move for Blackburn's star striker Jordan Rhodes during the winter transfer window.
The Black Cats manager Gus Poyet has been a huge admirer of the Scotland international's talents since his time with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship and is eager to sign up the player in the winter transfer window, as per SportsDirect News.
The 23-year-old has attracted plenty of interest from Premier League clubs in the winter, following a series of top displays for the Rovers in the Championship, with Crystal Palace also keen on making a bid for the frontman.
Rhodes has scored 16 goals in 26 appearances for the Lancashire club in all competitons this season.
