Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Barcelona's reserve team winger Isaac Cuenca on loan. The Spaniard spent last season on loan in Holland playing for Ajax but has since returned to the Nou Camp.
Cuenca is very highly rated at Barcelona, but the 22-year-old has struggled to force his way into the first team especially with the likes of Alexis Sanchez ahead of him. The 5 foot 7 winger has seen how impressive of a start Spanish starlet Gerard Deulofeu has had at Everton and now hopes to follow in the footsteps of his Barca team mate by moving to England.
Tottenham are busy scouring Europe for the best young talent and director of football Franco Baldini has already taken a look at Cuenca in action playing for Barcelona's B team.
With Spurs looking to add new talent to their squad during the January transfer window, Cuenca is a name near the top of Tottenham's wish list.
