Anelka back for Utd game
Bolton striker Nicolas Anelka could be set to make a timely return for Bolton to play Man Utd at the weekend. The French international striker played against Morocco in a friendly last weekend and is set to take part in the Euro 2008 qualifier against Ukraine on Wednesday.
Les Bleus manager Raymond Domenech told MEN: "Anelka played because of our doctor's talent. I understand the clubs. They want to protect a player who has not appeared for them. A little doubt remains.
"So they anticipate and try to make me think that their injury is bigger to have them back.
"Here, we do the required scans. The proof is that Anelka played again and there has not been any problem.
"If we had a little doubt during the last training sessions, I would not have taken any risk. I am not crazy."
