Cisse wanted by Besiktas

Newcastle Striker is wanted by Turkish side Besiktas on loan till the end of the season. The Senegal striker has been on the periphery for the Magpies and has only scored one league goal all season.

Fikret Orman, the Besiktas chairman wants to add a big name player to the side managed by former Everton and West Ham man Slaven Bilic.

Cisse is valued at £10m by Newcastle and even after the loan deal the Turkish outfit may only be able to cough up £7.5m.

The North-East club have already reportedly turned down a move for the 28 year old from Borussia Monchengladbach and Qatari side Al Rayyan.
